According to both Every Diet and Fad Diet Dot Com, Weight Watchers is one of the most successful and realistic diet plans out there today. Weight Watchers has a philosophy that dieting is only one part of a long-term weight management. They believe that a healthy body will result in a healthy lifestyle, in terms of mental, emotional, and physical well being. While they do not tell you exactly what to eat, they provide you with information, tools, and motivation to help you in making good eating decisions.
Recently, the Weight Watcher's program has been slightly altered to what is called a PointsPlus program. The goal of this plan is to stop the dieter from thinking about the actions of dieting, and to simply start living while making good, health conscious eating decisions. It is formulated to help you handle hunger and beat temptation, to stay full longer by eating recommended power foods, to make healthy decision making second nature, to get the latest nutrition information from experts, to adapt the program to your personal needs, and to refrain from requiring or forbidding any foods.
One interesting, and supposed strength, of the Weight Watcher's diet is the ability to meet regularly with others in order to obtain and provide motivation, encouragement, and support to each other. The leaders of the groups are previous dieters who are trained experts on the program but who also obtained their weight loss goals while following the program. These meetings occur once a week for less than an hour and are not required but recommended to attend.
Weight Watchers also provides online services, where you can register and track your eating progress and where you can network and talk to others who are participating in the program.
According to Every Diet, while no diet will work for 100% of the population, the Weight Watchers program is one of the most successful diet programs in existence.

Exercise: Today I finally got back into running!! And Yoga of course. So for starters, I began with a warm up mile at a fast walking pace (about a 13.5 minute mile pace). Then I increased my speed to about a 10.5 mile pace and ran half a mile. Finally, I slowed back down to my 13.5 mile pace for another half a mile cool down. This short run took me about 25 minutes. After I was done running, I went ahead and joined in with my yoga class. The class lasts an hour and focuses on Vinyasa flows.
Eat: "Watch Out for Added Sugar in Fruit that is Not Raw". While all fruits are good for you, it is important to be conscious of the extra calories and sugar that are found in frozen, canned, dried, and juice forms of fruit. Dried fruits and juices often carry more in calories than fresh whole fruits, and vegetables will often have much less fiber than fresh.
Relax: Today my relaxing was actually a lack of relaxing. Sometimes I find it incredibly "relaxing" or at least weight lifting to get a bunch of stuff checked off my to-do lists. And that is exactly what I did this morning. I sat down and got a ton of my things done for the day, making myself feel much more relaxed and less stressed over it all.
